Marketplace role
Ghana Tour Guide is a marketplace that connects travelers with independent guides in Ghana. Guides are responsible for the truth, safety, legality, availability, and delivery of their listings and services.
Accounts and listings
Users must provide accurate information and protect their account. Guide profiles, identity documents, availability, prices, descriptions, and photos must be real and authorized. Ghana Tour Guide may review, reject, hide, or remove accounts and content that violate these Terms or the Community Standards.
Booking amounts
All tour amounts are shown in Ghana cedis. The traveler total equals the tour subtotal plus a 3% Booking fee. The platform commission defaults to 12% of the tour subtotal and may be set by an administrator only within 10–15%. The guide share is the subtotal less the applicable commission.
Payments and guide payout
Tour payments are processed through Paystack. Ghana Tour Guide does not use split settlement at checkout. The guide is eligible for payout only after the booking is completed and no refund, dispute, safety hold, or payout block applies.
Hotels and restaurants
Approved hospitality listings may link to a business’s own HTTPS booking page. Hotel and restaurant reservations, prices, payments, changes, and refunds are handled directly by that independent business, not through Ghana Tour Guide tour checkout.
Cancellation and refunds
If a paid tour booking is canceled before it is completed, the full traveler total is refunded and the guide receives GH₵0. Payment-provider processing time may apply. Completed bookings and disputed service claims are reviewed through Support. The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
Conduct and safety
Harassment, discrimination, exploitation, threats, fraud, unsafe services, impersonation, spam, and privacy violations are prohibited. Users may report content or users and may block further contact. Administrators may investigate, preserve necessary audit records, restrict accounts, and cooperate with lawful requests.
Service availability
Ghana Tour Guide may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
